AN OPEN PLEA TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Please be
responsible dog owners and don't let your dogs roam the neighborhood.
Some of us have
been "accosted" by neighborhood dogs while
trying to jog or ride bikes or
walk our own dogs or children. This can be avoided by
keeping your dog on leash
any time they are out of your house. It will
also keep the DOGS safer...
Please be good neighbors and have a little consideration for others.
(This is a statement of opinion from a resident, and not necessarily an
official position or opinion of the Glenaire Neighborhood Association and/or its officers)
ALERT!!
Bears
are still being seen around the area from time to time. While most bears
are
timid and essentially harmless
if left strictly alone, families with small children
and pets should be extra cautious.
Keep children and pets safe and
remove things such as pet feed that might attract the bear.
Call Animal Control at 977-9041
if a bear is around your house and not
leaving at once, do not try to approach it! Thanks to
Peg Jess for this warning.
